Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis, Scoliosis, and Other Bone Related Diseases

Our large bones are the source of life-giving, blood producing marrow.   There are two primary types of marrow – red and yellow.

Yellow bone marrow manufactures the tissues within the bone that do not create the red blood cells.  Red marrow is the primary source for the stem cells from which the oxygen-carrying cells are created from.

Blood cells fall into three categories:  erthyrioc or oxygen-carrying cells, lymphoid cells, and myeloid cells which form our adaptive immune system.

Negative emotions such as bitterness and unbelief can contribute to the breakdown of bone tissue.  The neurotransmitters that accompany broken-heartedness can inhibit the production of healthy blood tissue.

The disease of our bones and blood and the connections to a healthy immune system are described in Dr. Art Mathias’ In His Own Image.    This book describes many of the ways in which negative thoughts and emotions affect our health.

Using medical studies, psychology and scripture, you will learn how emotions such as anxiety or depression can directly suppress the cells of our immune system.  Suppressed immunity results in chronic disease and can lead to death.

Ancient Clues to the Effects of Bitterness on Our Bones

Proberbs 14:30

A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bones.

Scoliosis

In 2009, Dr. Mathias was teaching about the results of bitterness combined with the predisposition to carry the burdens that others should be carrying.  In audience were several teen age girls with scoliosis.  Before the evening was over, three of them experienced the natural restoration of their spine.
